The following short films were produced in 2008 as part of the ‘Living Stories of the Victorian Goldfields’ project. At the time, the Castlemaine Diggings National Heritage Park was being tested for World Heritage listing and the films encompass the diggings and surrounding towns and city. They paint a picture of the area from the time of the goldrushes and of more recent experiences.
The films were funded by Mount Alexander Shire, City of Greater Bendigo, Parks Victoria, Heritage Victoria and Regional Development Victoria.
