Maldon’s Heritage: Why does it matter?

The Maldon Heritage Network, a new community-based advocacy group for local heritage, is hosting a free public presentation by Trevor Budge AM titled ‘Maldon’s Heritage: Why does it matter?’ Trevor’s talk will explore the history of Maldon’s heritage from the township’s nomination by the National Trust in 1966 as Australia’s First Notable Town through to the relevance of, and challenges to, our local heritage today. Trevor has had extensive experience in town planning in regional and rural areas and is currently one of two co-ordinators for the Victorian Goldfields World Heritage bid.
